  Easy To Use!!Do It Yourself And Save $$Great For Taping Cracks In Plaster!!This tool makes it very simple and easy for taping the joints on the drywall, and when it is empty of compound it weighs 2 pounds. When it is used, it can be placed on any flat surface. You do not carry this tool to work with. It has an aluminum base, which is 1 inch high and 22 inches long. On top of this base are two boxes. One is to hold a roll of tape for taping sheet rock and the other one is to hold the drywall compound.   The Tucker tool is designed to put one box at the end of the base, which is 9 inches long 2 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches high, so that it can hold a 500 foot roll of drywall tape, or a roll of mesh, or fiber glass tape will also work with this tool. This box has an opening of a 2 1/4 inch wide slot in front of bottom of it, so the drywall tape that is being used will be able to be threaded through the compound box.   This box that holds the roll of tape, has pockets 1/2 inches wide, 5 inches long, on each side to hold taping Knives from 1 inch to 12 inches in length. The other box is placed 2 1/2 inches in front of the tape holder box, which is to be filled with drywall compound, which is designed for the compound to be on top of the tape. As you pull the tape out from the bottom, the tape comes out clean with no compound on it. The taper can take the clean side of the tape and fold it as many times as he chooses. It could be one foot, or fifty feet etc.   In the middle of this box at the base is a 2 1/8 inch wide slot and 1/8 of an inch high, on each side of the box so that the drywall tape is able to be threaded through the box. There is a 2 inch ledge that protrudes in front of the box, which is from the base of the tool and has a cutter blade to cut the tape as you pull it out of the compound. This box is 8 1/2 inches long, 7 inches wide, 6 or 8 inches high.   There are many other portable tools that the tapers have to carry as they tape drywall joints. They have to mix their compound very thin, and when they tape or work with the tool the compound cement drips all over the floor and becomes very messy.   With the Tucker, taping tool you can place it on any scaffold, ladder, bench, or bucket. This way, the taper will have both of his hands free, without having to hold a pan in his hand. The Tucker Taping Tool is designed to use a heavier mixed compound so that when the cement is used, it will not drip all over the floor. The excess compound that you receive when you are wiping the tape, will be to the tapers advantage, as it can be used to coat the joint, or to coat the corner metal, or to spot the nails, at the same time as you are taping and wiping the joints. It also is a quicker and easier way to tape light boxes and pipes.   No other tool will allow you to carry two or three knives, and to be able to work with both hands free of carrying a pan as you are taping. This Tool also is designed to be a Mini Tool  with loops to carry on your belt.
